Dr. Rassael

Dr. Rassael primary goal is to attend to the need of every patient. He is a caring cosmetic surgeon who has dedicated himself to his patients. Dr. Rassael evaluates every patient's needs and desires determining the best treatment plans that will help the patients meet their cosmetic goals.

Dr. Rassael graduated from George Washington University, and then went on to complete his PhD majoring in Physiology at Georgetown University. He graduated at the top of his class from The New York College of Osteopathic Medicine. He did his surgical residency at St. Agnes Hospital including training at the world renowned Johns Hopkins Burn center in Baltimore, Maryland. In his training he had the opportunity to learn the surgical skills to perform body and facial surgery. After his general surgery training, he continued his studies at AFIP/Walter Reed Medical Center in Washington, DC where he completed his Head & Neck Fellowship.
Due to his passion for cosmetic surgery, Dr Rassael took it upon himself to further fine tune, not only his surgical techniques but also to learn the art of facial and body contouring surgery. His Training with world renown surgeons, such as Dr Lore', Dr Gallagher and Dr Nuveen has made him an exceptional cosmetic surgeon. On a training journey, he worked with several cosmetic surgeons in Baltimore, Maryland.

As a member of The American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery, Dr Rassael is at forefront of the latest Surgical techniques for Body Contouring and Facial Cosmetic surgery. He is extensively involved in attending seminars, lectures and clinical workshops both nationally and internationally.

As a Cosmetic Surgeon, Dr. Rassael also understands the need for non-surgical enhancement that's available in the world of cosmetic practice. He has always been in the forefront of both surgical and non-surgical innovations to improve his patient's physical image. River Riders is a Licensed Professional White Water Guide Service. Originally started in the early 70's by Frank Hubbard of Annandale, VA as Shenandoah River Rafters, River Riders has seen many progressions over the years. Originally we met people at the river, and guests ran their own shuttles. We purchased our original piece of property which was a converted gas station in 1987. In 1995 we demolished the original building and built the first stage of our current office. In 2003, we purchased 3 additional acres for expansion and began building the current facility you will see today. We would like to thank all of our long time and new guests for 30 plus years of growth by putting profits back into the business. No other outfitter in the area has a comparable track record of improving to serve you better.

Our guides separate us from the competition. With experience on world-class Whitewater Runs in North, Central, and South America, our staff leaders have the seasoned skills and know-how to provide you with the most enjoyable trip possible. The guides pride themselves on your positive experience. The West Virginia Division of Natural Resources certifies all guides at River Riders.
  To provide you with the best experience possible, River Rider's staff goes beyond the required training. With our new staff, we train on customer service skills, river ecology, wildlife, flora and fauna. In addition to learning how to skillfully maneuver river craft, new staff are trained in First Aid, Professional Rescuer CPR, and Basic Swift water Rescue.
  Among our senior staff we have in house First Aid and CPR instructors, Swift water and Whitewater Rescue Technicians and Instructors, EMT's and First Responders. Jefferson County Emergency Services calls River Riders to assist with all river related rescues in the Harpers Ferry area.

Well I have to admit I was a little nervous. When we first arrived we were greeted in a warm, friendly manner. Informed of the changing rooms & lockers. Then we had our video. It was good. Informative. THEN THE PARTY STARTED!!!!! We got our jackets, paddle, and helmet and we were rockin. Our guide Genell B. was awesome, she was funny, told us about the river and another historic events. She was very professional. The rafting was wonderful and we will be back for sure. It was awesome.*BEWARE* of the hill at the end of the trip it is steep. Thanks to Catfish for keeping me laughing. We will be back for sure.
